My name is Slade Roberts, a modern artist based in Dallas, Texas. I create a variety of contemporary, abstract, and graphic art paintings. Although, I am very serious when creating, keeping a sense of humor along the way is important. Many of my works are titled using a "play on words" or with references to popular culture.

As with many artists, my concepts can evolve and come to life as I paint, but many times a mental picture will just come to me, seeing a picture of the entire completed work. The majority of my works tend to be either clean and minimal or highly stylized. I am drawn to mid century modern design, and I love to incorporate linear elements, geometric shapes and high contrast colors in my work.
